High Legh Prayer and Retreat Centre

High Legh Prayer and Retreat Centre

High Legh is a beautiful area of rural North Cheshire. Here the former Independent Methodist Chapel has been converted into a prayer and retreat centre.

The light and airy Chapel Hall seats up to 50 people and can be used as a worship centre, a retreat for church fellowships or a venue for small conferences/meetings. The Centre was closed for refurbishment in November 2005 and was re-opened in April 2006 with new facilities including improved access to the main areas.

The Fields may be hired for camps by churches wishing to organise a week long or weekend event for their members. The fields are separated by the Chapel into two enclosed grassed areas.

The Cottage may be used by individuals and family groups as a place of retreat for rest, study and prayer. This is an ideal facility for those who wish to spend time with God. Thought to date from the 17th. century, it has been fully renovated and now combines rustic charm with comfortable modern amenities.

High Legh is in a most attractive setting, away from busy main roads. Yet it is only three miles from junction 20 of the M6 motorway. You can be "away from it all", but if you want to be active, there is so much to see and do - walking along country lanes and footpaths or visiting the local attractions and nearby towns and villages. The local churches will be pleased to welcome you to worship with them during your visit.

We believe that God has made this wonderful resource available and that it is to be used to 'build His Church' and to bring times of refreshing and joy to those who are involved in His work.
